Movie Night Celebrates Earth Day

Northwood hosted a movie night in Ballantyne’s Backyard on April 21, in celebration of Earth Day. The event featured the movie “Finding Nemo” and various food and drink vendors. Before showtime, Upcycle Arts repurposed the campus’ vinyl banners into a children’s craft.

Earlier in the day, the newly renovated Brixham Park hosted customers and the public for free shredding and recycling, a fitness class with SweatNET and a showcase of sustainability initiatives and partners, including TreesCharlotte and the new, second apiary on campus. More food and drink vendors were on hand as well.
